- ItemID [0..*] Is the primary item Identifier associated with the given item within the scope of the given integration as provided by the Party or entity that has created this document instance.
- CustomerItemID [0..1] Is the identifier provided by the customer for the item.
- ManufacturerItemID [0..1] Is the identifier provided by Manufacturer for the Item. One example may be the model number.
- SupplierItemID [0..1] Is the identifier provided by the supplier for the item.
- UPCID [0..1] Allows an instance of an item to have a UPC identifier associated.
- EPCID [0..1] Allows an instance of an item to communicate the ElectronicProductCodeID that it was assigned. The ElectronicProductCodeID is one of the major RadioFrequency Identifiers used.

- Classification [0..*] This identifies the classification of an entity. An entity may be classified into mulitple groups for different reasons. Examples of Classification include Commodity Codes, Freight Classifications, Product Line classifications and so on. Suggested Values are COMMODITY, FREIGHT, PRODUCTLINE
- Specification [0..*] Identifies the specification of an entity.
- HazardousMaterial [0..*] Provides the Hazardous Material Code and description.
- Packaging [0..*] Identifies the Packaging information for a given item. Note: The UPC here is the UPC of the packaging for a given item.
- UID [0..*] Is a two dimensional data matrix bar code identifier. For example, a concatenation of a Cage Code and serial number.
- RFID [0..*] Allows an instance of an item to carry any radio frequency identifier (RFID) that maybe used by a supply chain.
- SerialNumber [0..*] Unique serial number assigned to the given item instance by the manufacturer.
- ReferenceDesignatorID [0..1] Is the reference designator on a Drawing or BluePrint where the BOM is used. Is an identifier used to refer to an instance of the Item (part number) in manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings and/or CAD models. ReferenceDesignator is also often known as an installation point. There will be a single distinct ReferenceDesignatorID for each instance of an Item, however multiple distinct ItemIDs could have the same ReferenceDesignatorID value within a BOM, such as for alternate parts or parts selected from a test-fit-and-select processes.
- FindNumber [0..1] FindNumber: is used as a shorthand for the ItemID (part number) in manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings and/or CAD models. The FindNumber is the same for all instances of the Item.
- LotSerial [0..*] LotSerial is being depricated in favor of SerializedLot as of 9.2 release. This can be used in three ways: specify multiple serial numbers for a given lot, or specify multiple lots without serial numbers, or specify multiple serial numbers without a LotID. Typically, the parent element that uses LotSerial also provides the ability to provide a single lot number and serial number pair, which can be used for the cases where there are no multiple lots or serial numbers involved
- SerializedLot [0..*] Is the Lot and Setial numbers for the items contained in the associated component by identifing the number of items and the uniques serial number of those items that belong to a given Lot.
- Quantity [0..1] Identifies the quantity of the associated service or item that is addresses by the component in which the quantity is associated.
- CountryOfOriginCode [0..1] Represents the identifier of the country of origin of an item, service or shipment
- ImportLicenseRequiredIndicator [0..1] Communicates the need for an import license on a good or service. Valid values are '0' for no license required, and '1' for license required.
- OrderQuantity [0..1] Is the quantity of a material or product ordered by the customer.
- ShippedQuantity [0..1] Is the quantity that is shipped.
- OpenQuantity [0..1] This segment is used to describe the quantity of item’s, products or resources open to processing on a document header or line. The open quantity may refer to the quantity’s being budgeted, produced, purchased, received, sold, or used
- BackOrderedQuantity [0..1] This is the quantity of product or item that is on back order.
- OwnershipCode [0..1] Is used to identify who or which organization owns the item or part. The content of this Field is user defined based on a specific Customer or Supplier.
- EstimatedWeightMeasure [0..1] The estimated weight of an item or container. An estimate is provided as a processing alternative when the actual weight of an item is not known or cannot be calculated exactly.The estimated weight of an item or container. - LoadingWeightMeasure [0..1] This is the net weight at loading time of the container in which the materials are being shipped.
- TareWeightMeasure [0..1] Tare weight of the associated Entity. The Tare weight is the weight of the packaging when empty (in the case of a pallet the weight of the empty pallet) that when subtracted from the Gross weight results in the Net weight.
- NetWeightMeasure [0..1] This is the net weight of the goods or materials being shipped.
- GrossWeightMeasure [0..1] Gross weight of the associated entity. The total weight of the entity without reduction of packaging or container. I.e The Gross wieght of a pallet of goods includes the weight of the pallet.
- TotalVolumeMeasure [0..1] Quantifies the volume, or amount of space, that is occupied by an item, container or shipment.
