Valid value Description AGENCY Agency: Attorney that represents an agency either as an employee or a contract attorney. CIVIL Court Appointed, Civil: Represents their client in a civil or family court case. DEFENSE Court Appointed, Defense: Represents their client in a criminal case. GAL Court Appointed, Guardian ad Litem: Represents the best interests of the child such as a GAL. PRIVATE Private: An attorney hired directly by the client.
